idk man, I really don't know. I love destiny. It's the only game that I play for the last 6 months. & this weapon patch...looks terrible on paper. I understand the premise of the patch, that they're trying to balance out the weapons, but I think they're going overboard. They don't need to destroy blackhammer. I don't need a sniper rifle that reloads for me. the other perks are absolute shit, I'll never use blackhammer over Efirdeets ... I can't believe they're reducing mag sizes of hand cannons ... aka the most popular primary in the game easily. It's ridiculous. Legendary hand cannons are fine, they don't need to be screwed with. I don't think the nerf to thorn is gonna change anything. Allowing DoT to stack 5x is going to make the issue worse, regardless of they're cutting the damage 1/3. Team-shotting w. Thorn is going to be the most lethal shit ever... Nerfing gjallarhorn is really uncalled for in my opinion too. Not for the reasons they say at least, they say they're nerfing it because they don't like how LFG & recruitment requires it, then let Xur sell gjallarhorn. Nerfing it is [b][i][u]NOT[/u][/i][/b] going to change that. honestly it's only gonna make it worse. I have a gjallarhorn, I have for a looooong time. I never required people to have it specifically because I already had one. If they wanna give everyone equal opportunity, then have Xur sell it, period. That's the only thing that'll have a chance at changing it. shit if they're [i]that[/i] worried abt "elitism" then give people a weeks notice to get their coins up for too. I'm hoping that this whole patch doesn't come out as terrible as it seems it will on paper, but I suppose we'll see ...
