You Don't EAT Ammo Synths...Do You?
So in my Destiny career, I've heard the phrase "pop a synth" plenty of times, but occasionally back then (and very often recently), I've been hearing a lot of random players say "eat a synth".
Now, I don't know exactly what you do with ammo synthesis (plural form of synthesis?), but I don't think you EAT them.
I've been hearing so much (usually from younger sounding players):
"Gonna eat a synth"
"One sec, eating heavy ammo"
"Cover me, gonna eat a heavy synthesis"
But IDK, maybe I'm wrong.

You don't eat grenades when you get killed by them but it's still a common phrase.

Glimmer is manipulable matter, that's why it's the currency. A factory can take glimmer and make literally anything out of it. Ammo synths are packs of glimmer specifically measured out so that your ghost can manufacture a type of ammunition. Technically, your ghost eats it but not really because it's being transformed.

Never heard anyone say this. It's usually "hold on I need to use a synth" or the occasional "let me burn a synth."

Why would you eat it. I mean they are glow g boxes with BULLETS in them. If anything you open them. Now how those make your Gjallahorn have rockets I will never know....
