Community Wish List (old)

Quoted below is the existing Community Wish List that was being curated by Destiny Player Support. I’m taking over this initiative and will be updating the list once a week. I love reading feedback, but we can all agree that there is a lot of it to sort through. In order to make sure you get your idea seen, post a new topic to the [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Topics/0/Default/None/Feedback]#Feedback[/url] forum and add the tag #CommunityWishList. This will give us an easy way to review all of your ideas you would like to be added to the list.

Bring year one gear forward all ready. Still bitter about not being able to wear my year one faction armor, seems simple enough. At least bring back the armor

[u]Rotating Stock on Tower Vendors[/u] This needs to happen as soon as possible as it would be a huge and great addition to the game. Every week, the Vanguard Quartermaster, Crucible Quartermaster, and the Faction Vendors would each sell random, different weapons that they've once sold before like in the previous expansions. These weapons would be completely random out of the weapons they have sold before, with each weapon having random perk rolls. The other vendors would also sell random pieces of armor that they've sold before with random perk rolls as well. Not only would this allow players to obtain the pieces of gear that they've once had or want to obtain in general, but it would also give players something new and exciting to come back to every week other than different activities.

1 ReplyCan I recommend titles like in other games? For example, kill Atheon and you can earn the title "Timebreaker" or something. Kill Crota and become the "Godslayer". Earn so many kills in the Iron Banner (or something with Rise of Iron) and earn the title "Iron Lord". Something simple but it adds some of the personalization that people crave. I'm not a programmer though so aim not sure how easy it'd be to add that to the game.

I personally believe that the most fun I and many others had in destiny, was during the high impact pulse rifle/ handcannon meta. Scout rifles were viable, handcannons (exotic specifically) were the best they'd ever been, and low rof pulse rifles were a force to be reckoned with. But now in destinys current state, exotic handcannons are more worthy of being deemed legendary, and low rate of fire weapons have no place in crucible. During the previously mentioned meta pve and pvp were amazing to run with these weapons but now we are in a drought for good primary variation

Cosmo, please add a page in your ghost(aka Guardian info) for collected engrams so we don't have to waste weapon space for it. Also, increase the slots for every weapon and gear type from 9 to 15 to cope with the new exotics for Rise of Iron

1 ReplyBungie, I love destiny and I have been playing since beta, logged hundreds of hours playing and I feel that you have created a great game. Look at my stats, I am a skilled player. But you have ruined the Trials of Osiris. My fireteam would consistently go flawless every week, more than once. But since TTK my fireteam has been twice. We play every week and it is truly insane how broken this playlist is. Every time we get to five wins, that is when all hell breaks loose. Lag, ddos, weapon glitches, and the list goes on. I thought you wanted a game that was free from cheaters, but they thrive in the trials. Every week it is the same routine. Fix this mode, change it back to connection based matchmaking like it use to be. I promise the community will be happy Anyone else feel this way?

Custom games, almost all of the community has been asking for them since launch, and bungie in almost all of your community focus interviews custom games have been asked for They would make the game a lot more enjoyable for a lot of people

I would like to be able to do VOG and crota at higher levels. Maybe do them as taken raids for example the witches before you take out crota could be taken and the one that screams (i cant remember her name now!) That could be an echo etc. Also private crucible matches would be fun along with map voting and hardcore mode with no radar, no supers and say 2 shot kills.

bungie please increase the drop radius of heavy ammo in PVP a little, im sick of being so close to it and a teammate pulls it and i get nothing. im not asking for a big increase maybe 0.5m-1.0m increase. and decrease the radius of special ammo its a bit ridiculous.

Drops based on max light character has achieved, not light level of current gear wearing. For instance if someone has gear to make them 335 and they have something like a year 1 gun on when higher light gear drops, it should drop based on 335 not the 300 or whatever there character is currently at.

Planet Material- -How about instead of planet material, it gets changed into essence to then be used to upgrade gear? This way it can combine our planet materials into a single item.....or we can simply exchange our planet materials into that new single item? Unique guns- -How about have a mission from the cryptarch or Xur? Our reward would be a legendary or exotic gear piece with a perk such as a 10% chance to have a legendary item drop or a 5% chance to earn extra coins? Sparrows- -Why not look into a lot of those fan made sparrows and make skins that are based off Exotics, or even based off enemy types as well that would be cool, maybe even upgrade our stats and perks on sparrows making it go faster or handle better or weather we want the boost perk that explodes over time or a normal booster and so on.... HUD screen- -Where we see our super charges and ability charges, why not have the option if we want to display our countdown timers on them or not like in Overwatch?
