Community Wish List (old)

Quoted below is the existing Community Wish List that was being curated by Destiny Player Support. I’m taking over this initiative and will be updating the list once a week. I love reading feedback, but we can all agree that there is a lot of it to sort through. In order to make sure you get your idea seen, post a new topic to the [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Topics/0/Default/None/Feedback]#Feedback[/url] forum and add the tag #CommunityWishList. This will give us an easy way to review all of your ideas you would like to be added to the list.

Yo bungie can you edit the Dead orbit exotic cloak spawn effect. I have had the cloak since the beginning of y2 and I hardly notice it. All the other factions are considerably noticeable. Maybe you can make us spawn in from a black hole or something. Thank you for your time.

I want better and reliable servers. If the lag was lowered it would be great. Maybe make a game mode where you could have 3 teams of 3 or something like that. If the connection was good enough for higher amounts of players in 1 game it would be so much fun.

Vehicles in crucible. A mech with gatling guns and rocket launchers Large car: A car that can seat up to 3 ppl. 1.Driver, drives car, can control forward facing solar weapons. 2. Gunner. A kinetic gun on the car can be controlled by the gunner. 3. Passenger. The passenger is in the car next to the driver and can use his weapons. Small car. Can seat 1 person. The person drives the car, and controls the void weapons on the front.

I was thinking about the lack of matchmaking problem for nightfalls. I have an alternate character who doesnt get alot of playtime. What if we could bring our alternates into our fireteam as NPC. So how about setting a system like in FF12 where I could dictate the actions of my NPC fireteam member. To those who didnt play FF12 you controlled the party leader and had 2 NPCs that ran off of the "Gambit" system. You had to set actions for specific Circumstances. Example: I would set my power house NPC to defend my white mage above attacking Ads. I would also set my white mage to group heal once 1 team member had <50% health

My wish is to stop betraying year one players that decided not to buy the next expansion. It is not cool to force them to buy the expansion by: 1. locking them from the activities they bought (nightfalls dailies strikes level 28-32) 2. mixing all pvp modes. Each player prefers a particular mode, and should have the right to select what to play. you should not force him to rotate all modes unless he buys the expansion (!). 3. reducing the difficulty level in remaining activities. There is no point in leaving only level 15 and light 240+ e.g. in Exclusion zone, when I am at level 34. Before TTK, you had higher levels for such missions, and we could farm more efficiently. Honestly, I wish that if by any case you introduce new light level for old raids, which is a cool thing for TTK players, then by no means don't you lock all 34 level players from these activities! You should retain the old level too, so that we can enter these activities too. We have paid for them. I hope that you improve your marketing tactics, by providing cool new content, and not by deteriorating/locking existing content so that new expansion is automatically rendered cooler to buy!

Don't get me wrong I like playing on a fire team, but A lot of times I just want to chill out and play one of my favorite games alone.

This would allow us a better chance at gaining the gear we want without having to lower our light. Lessens the grind. 3. The infusion is good, but give us another way to level the gear we like. Add an armor smith and give the armor and weapon smith the ability to infuse your gear to the maximum light level one point at a time using glimmer, legendary marks, ascendant materials, radiant materials, etheric light, and moldering shards as part of the cost. The higher the light gets on an item the higher the cost to infuse it to the next level (only works on year 2 items that have the infusion slot. good for leveling gear you are having a hard time increasing the light). lessens the grind. 4. (possible reforge) The smiths should be able to modify our weapons and armor using parts we have collected from other gear. We choose what to keep when dismantling items. A standard dismantle would yield glimmer and upgrade materials. A focused dismantle would yield the perk you want to keep. Example: a rare sniper rifle drops at 270 with the scope you wish you had on your 310 1000 yard. You would focus dismantle the 270 rare for the scope, take your 1000 yard and scope to the weapon smith for forging. lessens the grind. This would make year 1 content relevant by, but keep us using year 2 gear, give us more to do during the week, give us an alternate avenue of leveling up in case we don't get what we need this week and still incentivize raid and nightfall activities as these are the best activities for higher level gear.

Year 2 gear lvl for old raids and poe would bring me back if no new content is available for download. More endgame content is needed. Also better drops for iron banner i.e. gaurentted max light gear to be purchased from the vendor not a stupid package at the end of rank 5. Let me buy that 320 weapon.

I was wondering, if it hasn't already been addressed, would it ever be possible to add a future addition to the Main Menu's opening theme? Something akin to an option to change the music that plays during the menu screens? I understand that quite a few people wish to move on and away from Year 1, but there's just a lot of good parts that simply would make it a shame to outright abandon them. The music from the Year 1 soundtrack always gave an exceptional vibe to how a story mission plays out([b]such as how things played out during The Last Array[/b]) and the TTK soundtrack also does a good job at this([b]like the suspense felt during the fight with Oryx in both Regicide and the KF raid[/b]). I understand that it seems like a bit of an incomplete and abstract thought at the moment, but if others were to also add in their input and thoughts do you think you could add in such an idea to the Community Wishlist? [spoiler]Summarized, an option to change what music plays during menus and, if possible, certain areas.[/spoiler] [spoiler]I just miss listening to the old music that used to play whenever I started up the game(which you just lost if you know the reference. I was hoping that maybe ya'll could add sidearms & heavy machine guns to Foundry orders & Gunsmith test weapons. I enjoy doing the PvE Gunsmith test weapons & would enjoy some more/new test weapons. (I got my favorite gun from a Foundry order, so keep up the good work!)

4 RepliesLet us acquire engrams from Factions: Vanguard, Crucible, Dead Orbit, Future War Cult, New Monarchy. These engrams would cost the same Legendary Marks as what the Cryptarch engrams sell for.
