This is just a little change up of the forums due to the whole weapon tuning thing.
Now I don't mean for this to break out into arguments ok guys I'm just generally curious as to how the rest of the destiny community judges other players without ever meeting or playing with them.
Me personally I look at grimoire score, only because it shows how dedicated someone is to completely maxing out the game.
But like I said no arguments, hey you might even learn something and improve your character so it impresses other people without even playing with them.
Edit 1: my bad for not explaining myself about the grimoire. I won't disallow anyone into my raid team, Poe team etc if their grimoire score is low however I will change my playstyle to be more serious. For example if a level 34 is in my raid team and they have 1000 grimoire score then I will change my playstyle to be more serious and more descriptive in my actions due to the fact they have not done said raid before. My bad for not explain that sorry.
Edit 2: I'm so glad with the outcome of this post. Almost no arguments and people talking nice to each other and giving their constructive feedback based on their "judgment system" it's been lovely reading all of your replies and even engaging in conversations with some of you. Nice to see we still have a lovely polite community of guardians after the whole ordeal lately, this will be my last edit for this post guys but I hope to see you all in the battlefield some day guardians :) happy killing

I judge players based solely on their behavior. My gaming time is relaxation time. If you're an a-hole, I'll leave or kick you if I'm leader. I don't care if you have a 3665 Grimoire score.
-
No judgement until I have seen them play. I have seen some really low Gilmore score players out play some 3300+ players.
-
I don't have time to explain why I don't have time to explain.
-
Grim can be an indicator, I tend to look at armor and weaps. Is it all vendor, Varik's or PVP? Prob not someone I want to run around PVE with (and they're probably not interested in PVE).
-
I dont too me it doesn't matter the lvl it just matters the skill
-
Grimoire Score and KD
-
KD, score per game avg and what types of medals they've earned in pvp
-
If they have lower than 2500 grimoire then they're a noob. After that, kd

Edited by BannedMythicAccount: 7/22/2015 2:20:31 PMBy how they think and base k/d. K/d doesn't have to be high if they think/say/understand things in the right way. K/D can always improve but mentality is something you either get or you don't. (For some maybe eventually) but its about base intelligence. Which is why you can get players who play 10,000 hours and still be worse than a 100 hour dude.

I don't.
-
Gaurdians dont judge.... but if i had to i would have to play with them.stats dont mean much especially grim score.
-
I look for ToO emblems to identify cheaters.
-
I def judge off of weapons/gear stats/g score but I never boot/exclude someone because of those things. but I get a bad feeling when someone joins up as a 34 with 500 some strength/ no int or disc, vendor weapons with bad rolls. but I'll always give the benefit of the doubt
-
I don't judge, some are good some are bad but fun is always had its just a game. I don't care if you suck as long as you have a good attitude
-
I give everyone a chance but if they're being annoying/disruptive or have bad logic sense (ie standing out in the open, being killed and saying it's not their fault) then I most certainly boot them. Other than that I don't have a problem with anyone.
-
How they play and act in game. Grim score and weapons don't matter. Lvl matters for some things but it's what you do and how you do it that matters
-
I get judged and then get booted because I don't have Gally, I have a life and I'm not a 34.
-
I just accept what help I can get seen as a lot of people won't play with me as it's my first time or I'm only 33 or don't have good weapons
-
I don't judge, I just play, if it goes well with others then nice one, if it doesn't, oh well
-
I don't
-
Try not to but human nature... I usually can tell I'm a party chat if I can play with someone.
-
No need to judge
-
I don't

Edited by Doc SoCal: 7/22/2015 2:03:16 PMI judge people by how they act. Stats mean little more than time played. Especially Grimoire...

With great contempt
