All these post about people wanting items from xur. I understand when trying to get that one elusive item. But it is a cheap way to get them. Like may of other people I know who have got most of their exocits from xur no longer want to play for loot. Yes it's easy for a quick one especially when it's something you want or need. I do like the aspect of xur. But giving away items so easy gets to you when that item dropped for you the day before. that's why I love the ps4 exclusive weopons as they cannot be picked up with such ease. (Still missing the hawkmoon :( ) Personally think xur shouldn't be in the tower. But when he arrives he should be at the end of a complition. Like a nightfall or strike, so at least you have to work to get to him. And this changes every wk so it becomes a treasure hunt that the community can share. Plus this gets people playing the content again. Which also helps those that struggle to get a group to complete raids/nightfalls with a larger pool of people playing them. This then means yes your earn coins. But you are earning the right to get to xur. Edit: I see where I people are coming from to help new people to the game. But these items are seen as end game? Why should they be so easy or so quick to get? When you can do strikes and crusible to get your marks up to get those legendary gear. Like I had to do before I could do vog.
