If you didn't use the Nechrochasm in the nightfall you are a fool!
This gun may otherwise be underwhelming, but I promise you it is a monster with arc burn. Regular enemies headshots were like 616 and majors was 308. Take that fire rate and it's like ice cream melting in the desert. I dare you to prove me wrong with how OP it is with burn. Other than that without the burn it sits in the vault. Haha. Let me know what you guys think or if you tried it!
Edit 1: I read these posts and see a lot of gally users....I wonder why it's getting nerfed. To eachs own but I enjoy using different weapons to keep it interesting.
Edit 2: a lot of mixed responses and I'm thinking that people assume I suggest to use the necro even on omnigul. Not the case. Melt her as you see fit. Use something other than the fatebringer the whole time. I wonder why these weapons are being nerfed when a lot of people are using the same load out. Necro is an overall fun gun to use, there are "better" weapons, but why not change it up? Keep posting guardians.

For arc burn Fatebringer or Fang of Ir Yut are both better than Necrogarbage. Sure if you wanna just screw around and waste time, use Necro. EDIT, I see you don't have Gjallarhorn, now I see why you made this stupid post.

*facepalm* when will people understand anything with the burn bonus in the night fall that is meant for your level is good, but the really good weapons get even better. On arc burn my necrochasm turns from a shit weapon to a good weapon but my fatebringer turns into a god weapon, they all increase the same

Edited by PedalOnTheRight: 7/21/2015 9:59:51 PMIn the past I've tried Nechro, Oversoul Edict, Fang, and Fatebringer as arc primaries during Arc burns and Rainbow burns. I've even done extra runs those weeks to really test/compare and try to be objective My experience has been ANY of the arc primaries are better than Nechro and that was when Fatebringer was still stuck at 300 Truth be told with all the hive Knights on this strike (Omnigul) Oversoul Edict is a fantastic weapon (seems to be what it was made for) since you can melt boomers while they stop shooting - You can get a similar effect by using Song of Ir Yut instead/in addition to OE note:(I adore FB but killing boomers through wall of darkness makes this strike faster/easier than a few mobs of thrall exploding) I've actually found VOC or Vex to be my go-to primary for this strike on rainbow burn to melt the shanks (Vex still melts mobs of thrall too) and after all shanks gone in last array area, swap back to OE/Fang/FB - with rainbow you can VOC through this Try OE and do an extra run solo just clearing the first room. Last room is amazing when boomer knights literally stop shooting and you can just kill them quick through wall of darkness I'll re-try Nechro after it gets buffed
