I've started playing Witcher 3 and I seem to have stalled. My weapons and armor aren't very good, I'm only a level 7, and most of the quests that are available are too hard. What do I do break out of this funk?

I had this problem. I was new to the game. What I did was underestimate the use of signs in combat. Just do the side quests that are recommended for your level. They can be a blast to do too. Also put points into your signs as well. Get the upgraded versions cause they are amazingly helpful. Buy Witcher gear and upgrade it. It add great set bonuses.

Craft witcher gear Make it enhanced /superior/Mastercrafted

No offense, but I bought that game about a week ago and I can't get into it. It's just too slow and I feel it's not very intuitive.... I was looking for a game that would tide me over until TTK. Witcher 3 is not it for me. Maybe the new Call of Duty. Most likely I'll take a break from gaming.

Explore everywhere. That's how I've found my gear. All the diagrams that are around my lvl are weaker than what I've found. I've got 20+ hrs in and I'm lvl 8 spent most of that just exploring. Now I'm over leveled for the story quest, Barron lvl 6. Using signs helps so do oils and potions. Also learn about your enemy's weaknesses check the bestiary.///

The main quests correlate to your level. You can also change the difficulty any time. Also, make sure your armour and weapons are being repaired

Okay I'm not a big witcher fan, still don't think it's the greatest, but the longer I played it, the more interesting the story got. When stumped like that, I would explore and check out the question marks. Be careful though, even some of them can be challenging.

If you got to the part with the elf and the ruins, (pretty early) loot everything, there's good armor

My experience with the Witcher games is they're always the hardest in the beginning, and you eventually become crazy OP. Do as many side quests/contracts at your level as you can. If there are none, go explore: find quests in between villages, and go through each village's notice board. Also, a lot of the really good armor and weapons I found were just lying in basic crates. Don't skip over them too much.

You have to do contracts and the main quest that's how you lvl up.

Go do the question marks
