I can't believe what you state is a fair example. These examples need to be conducted against decent, pro-level players, not randoms in the crucible. Any pro player with blink will have an advantage over someone who doesn't. The fact that Titans have to work that much harder to counter Blink is a sign that it is an unfair advantage. Especially when Titans can't even tank alot of what is thrown at them.

I read that armor will count for more (like, actually count) after the update.

There's an effect for armor now, it's something like being able to take one extra bullet from a low impact handcannon.
