About the Gally
Just want to say this. Stop crying about the Gally. The joyride is over. It was nerfed not becuz ppl complain, but becuz lazy players are unwilling to strategize or even play with people who don't own one. None of you can say squat becuz I use the raid finding forums and half of the fireteam requests always include "must have gally." Read the weapon balancing update. The exclusive laziness of Gally users did this on their own. You all know Im right.
This really doesn't bother me personally, more the fact that it is such an prevalent and common issue in the game and in the forums. It's silly.
Edit: ok so most of you agree, then some of you think that I have no place to comment because I do not own one and I'm jealous. Not the case. Those of you who think that my completion % matters in order to comment on a hot topic, you are wrong. The fact that I am not personally vested in the Ghorn makes my opinion unbiased and less emotional. I'm not crying. I'm commenting on the exclusive culture some Ghorn users have created.

Its not a big deal, it'll still be over powered and the king of rocket launchers However your edits annoyed me, I didn't think I'd use the Gally if I got it, I was wrong, to have a true opinion of something that isn't biased you need to have experienced it first, so perhaps hook up a friend, use their account for a bit and have a go at it before you make posts like these, sorry to say it just annoyed me quite a bit

4 RepliesI understand why Gally should be nerfed though I disagree with the reason Bungie put forward. I'd have nerfed it because it basically turns on easy mode for all PvE content and I doubt Bungle wanted the most challenging content to be finished in a matter of seconds by teams who all have Gally. People who say "just make content harder" are missing the big picture, IMO, because, if you make content harder just so Gally isn't ridiculously OP, you'd then make all other weapons underpowered for that same content. The fact they say they only nerfed it because of elitism in LFG (which is the only reason I've seen) is baffling when adding MM would circumvent all elitism in LFG and yet they don't even appear to think that's an option.

I agree with your main point, but you are not unbiased due to not having one. Sounds like you feel excluded by the "must have gjally" stuff, which is understandable. There is too much of that.

Why can't they just make the rocket hold 5 rockets instead of 7. You are doing less overall damage when using a synthesis and keeps the value of the weapon

6 RepliesI can't wait for the Gjallahorn nerf. It's gonna be awesome, and I love my hawkmoon and it's getting nerfed too, but damn man I hear players requiring gjally for nightfalls now. The community had this coming, no single completely random weapon should unanimously be required for any/all difficult or semi-difficult content. Gjally is so cool but so is hunger of Crota and Truth, looking forward to seeing people using those guns again with a gjally nerf

4 RepliesExotic is an exotic for a reason. I want it to -blam!- shit up and you can only have one armed at a time and if they never nerfed the vex we wouldn't be having this discussion. Not having one still makes you bias to be unbiased you shouldn't be playing the game but looking at stats etc. instead ;-)

2 RepliesI myself have a gally and have said a couple times only gallys that's only because I was carrying 3 or 4 people without it so u needed more. I never saw people who didn't have gally ask others without it to run raids you all blame us but all you guys wanted was to get carried by Us . Gally owners it's not because of elitists it's because no one and I mean no one could have been bothered to anything about not having one that they're nerfing it so don't just blame the gally users not all of us are bad.

Yep I'm glad they nerfed it because I so wanted to run those same strikes and missions for the hundred times buuuttt this time it will take me longer. Bungie is really stepping up.

I think this is great and the karma it's fantastic. By being lazy and elitist "LF2M PoE 34, must have ghorn" those people caused the gun nerf it really is fantastic. I couldn't be happier with a weapon update and it's reasoning even if I tried.

Now that they're nerfing the Ghorn I will require players to have it.
