As we Cross the fields of sand and old scrap heading towards the Observatory closing the distance. I ask Manhatton why we don't just take our sparrows he replies they'll be to loud we want to catch them by surprise. I send my ghost ahead to scout out the Area there is a small Ravine up ahead he comes back. As he starts to speak I Notice something in the Distance a glare. Coming from just beside the Observatory just then the Twang of a wire rifle shot in our direction we've been spotted I call my sparrow so does Manhatton. We ride zig zag closing the Distance much faster now dodging multiple wire rifles now. I can count three Vandals as the shots ring out towards us. We come up on the Ravine it seems like an easy jump on our sparrows as we start moving faster now we are nearing the base of the Observatory one Vandal near the base of the structure. I pull out my new Arc sword ready to test it out the Vandal notices me closing in as I raise my arm sword ready to cut he starts firing more rapidly less accurately. I punch it giving it full throttle as I swing cleaving him in two there isn't much drag the Edge is sharp on the blade his ether spread to the wind the other two are above higher up actually on the Observatory on two separate catwalks. I keep them distracted for awhile dodging more shots. I see Manhatton in Cover a sniper of his own returning fire on them I pull my sparrow around looking for any way to flank them. There is no clear way to. Then I notice both catwalks are anchored in the same place at a lower point on the Observatory to an old steel beam rusted over about 50 feet up. If I can knock it out both Vandals will fall to their deaths. I see half of an old bus rusting into the ground. I bring the Sparrow around once more going as fast as I can I use the bus as a ramp jumping from the sparrow Mid flight arc sword in hand splitting the beam with a Crack and a Screech as the Cat walks tipped spilling the vandals out to their deaths on the ground. Manhatton and I regroup he compliments me on the Catwalk cut down however it made a lot of noise. We look for an entrance to get inside I'm on point my hand cannon now in my right hand, Arc sword in the left. I see a hole blast in the wall up ahead as we turn the outer edge of the building one dreg stands guard outside. It looks like we have found our way in then Manhatton States as he raises his Scout rifle firing once killing the dreg with a headshot. We approach slowly It's quieter than expected we reach the hole in the wall I climb through and cover Manhatton as he does the same. It's darker inside my ghost lights up the small Corridor we head left Down the Corridor towards the main Observatory we stumble upon a couple of dregs on our way we take them out Silently. When suddenly Manhatton's Ghost gets an incoming signal. It's a Queens Corsair hailing us. Manhatton patches them through we have new Intel for you Guardians The House of kings are Responsible as well they are planning on moving soon there is a Baron as well as a Servitor being detected here take them out and we will keep an eye out for the rest of the fallen involved. That is all she cuts the connection. Manhatton looks at me quickly do you remember the Ketch Cuban wrecked into so we could escape it had a house of Kings emblem adorned on its hull. So they are Responsible. I nod in agreement. Now Manhatton takes point I cover his flank we are coming up on the main Observatory room. We get to the main entrance and immedietly notice the Servitor providing a couple of fallen with ether. Manhatton preps a Nova bomb they don't even know we are here yet. As he throws it burning their flesh and machine into the Void I hear something foot steps behind us heavy all of them as I turn I can see Arc sword in the dim Lighting I count eight of them in total. The Baron and Three Captains racing down the hall. I open Fire with the last word firing rapidly slowing them down the Baron keeps coming. I holster the last word. And hold my Arc sword with both hands as they close in I hear a heavy cocking sound behind me and then Instant repetitious Thunder as Manhatton. Opens fire with a Heavy machine gunning down Two of the Captains and wounding the third. The Baron hit a few times doesn't seem even mildly phased by this. I start running towards him our Swords Clash sending arc into the air. He swings with his spare sword I manage to dodge it while blocking one of his other attacks I try to force his sword back he reinforces it with his other sword with both pressing against mine. He presses his very being against me as if I should cower from his strength. I shall do no such thing as I force all of my light into my strength I hit him with my Fist arc shocking him from the blow enough to break his guard. I cut him across the chest before he tries slashing 3 more times once Nicking my Chest plate. He's becoming careless as he fights I cut the back of his leg his knee hits the floor and I hit him again with my Fist arc discharging into his body again this time I capitalize on the opening and bury my sword deep into his breast plate before ripping it out. The Baron has fallen and the Servitor has been turned to dust. Manhatton and I begin scavenging for anything useful. When I remember he only wounded that one Captain I ask Manhatton if he understands the fallen language. He replies unfortunately yes can you translate for me. He nods yes. We walk down the Corridor to the wounded Captain its barely breathing now but I ask why they are here and Manhatton Translates the Captain shows no remorse as it Speaks to Manhatton. Whatever he said must not have been good because his life was then ended quiet abruptly. I look at Manhatton he's angry and it shows he starts marching down the Corridor back the way we came I follow close behind him both last word and my Arc sword holstered. As we make it to the hole in the wall he call the ship in a nearby clearing for a landing. I ask him what's wrong what did the Captain say. He looks back at me it stated that the Darkness is almost upon us. I hate the thought of that we need to be ready we need to be the most powerful we can be. We need to push it back. Survive and kill it for not being able to kill us. We onboarded the ship another Transmission comes in to Manhatton's while we enter the Queens Emissary this time on the Comms Guardians beware The kings are on the Move their Ketch was spotted on its way towards Venus. I go to the Cockpit and prep for launch still able to hear the details as they come in. She continues this Is of the utmost importance Guardians don't fail us and you will be rewarded. This time Manhatton cut the Connection. He comes upfront and sits in the co pilots seat lets go to the tower we will need the supplies for Venus. I punch in the coordinates and we are off. The ship on auto pilot we talk for a long while time seemed to move slower. We arrive back at the tower safe I return to our Quarters and lay down tired I look over to see Cubans empty bunk.
