Corvette is a sports car not a muscle car
-
It's close enough. The V8 is the main reason why I'd consider it one.
-
That's just stupid. Many sports cars and super cars have V8s, as well as many luxury sedans. It's a motor not a vehicle type.
-
Uh huh. It shares that engine (or something similar) with the camaro, which is a muscle car. Not here for that. Not a huge fan, but if I had one, I would not be complaining.
-
So just because it has 8 cylinders means it part muscle car to you?
-
No. Because it shares an engine with a muscle car makes it part muscle car. If they dropped a VTEC engine into a Jetta, it's part honda.
-
The Camaro isn't w muscle car either. It's s pony car. And just because it shares an engine family with the Camaro doesn't mean it's the same car. The noble M600 shares an engine with an xc90 but that doesn't mean it's an suv.
-
Shittttttt. I forgot about pony and muscle. Wait... The M600 has a volvo engine? I really need to keep up with cars again.
-
Yep it uses the same basic engine has the volvo xc90 although with a couple of turbos attached to it.
-
Yep, I assumed they added a lot to it.
-
You literally must not know anything about cars. That's like calling a hamburger a vegetable because it has lettuce.
-
HahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahHhHahahhahahahahahahahagahahaha. Sorry that just made me laugh. Uhhhhh yeah I really don't care for american cars, and I know the corvette really isn't muscle. But the Z/28 isn't much muscle then eithfay.
-
What vehicle type do you prefer?
-
I don't really like one type. But european cars are amazing, built to perfection and very fast. But the 90's japanese cars, mainly the Nissans, are just some of my favorite as well. I like some american cars, like the GT, some of the old muscle cars from the 60-70 era and even some of the newer ones. I like the corvette, I just don't like it as much as others.
-
European super cars or something simpler like BMW or Mercedes? And 90s were good times for Nissan, Toyota and Mitsubishi. So many awesome cars
-
Super and luxury. I come from a family of originally BMW's until my dad's brand new 5 popped it's transmission in 2001. He swore never to buy a BMW again, and it was Mercedes from there.
-
BMWs do tend to have issues after 100,000 miles. But so do most cars these days.
-
Yeah, but the car was new. That's the issue.
-
Yeah that would piss me off
-
The Corvette hasn't been a muscle car since the 70s
-
Yeah yeah whatever. Not here for that discussion

Bugatti - Overweight, Ugly, Just a name Corvette - Overrated, Not a fan of the looks, Rather take a GTR anyday Porsche Cayman/Boxster - Overrated, Small The 911 is a piece of work tho.
-
I believe the Cayman is underrated honestly. Plus small is better.
-
Small /=/ Better (IMO) Cayman is far far from being underrated. Really.
