Yea its 20-40 hours of work to hit rank 5 in iron banner on avg an from rank 0 to 3 in crucible so yea its no true free lunch but, u can do that to get a lvl 20 alt character to lvl 33.5 in one week

Shortest you can complete iron banner wearin all the gears an runin the bounties to rank 5 is like 13-16 hours

I'd wager a guess that players willing to put in that much time are not the same players having a hard time getting enough Etheric Light. I have no research to back that up, just a guess.
