In all seriousness, Fox News did slam the video game industry as a response to the SC church shooting and Obama's subsequent calls for gun control. I don't have the source because I'm lazy and didn't even finish the article it was so stupid, but it basically said that banning violent video games would help solve the violence problems in the United States.

I don't remember reading an article from Fox News on this but I do know that many politicians (including the head of the NRA) have made this very claim. Its a ludicrous claim that uses the same fallacious reasoning that was used to demonize comic books as the reason why there was increased violence (50s and 60s).
