I actually think it's quite balanced. The hammers have a travel time and deal grenade like AoE in a very small area. You probably have increased armor so it's very comparable to say sunsinger. A golden gun can be used more often, has almost/no travel time, and can have three to four shots. In all honesty sunbreaker just has a bit of all the current subclasses.

Edited by Wow I Jake: 7/20/2015 5:26:35 PMI'm not saying it's op since the dlc isn't even out yet (I think it's quite silly to judge stuff before it's released), but you get more hammers than golden gun shots, there is an upgrade that allows them to track people, yes they have a grenade like aoe but it's a 1 shot in that aoe, you can smash people with it if they get close to you, you get increased armor, and you can use it just as many times as any other super, I have no idea why you think golden gun can be used more often (other than the perk that nobody uses which decreases recharge time. That upgrade is worthless in 6v6 anyway because it only takes about 30 seconds or so off of the time, which is almost nothing when you have such easy access to score from kills and whatnot) . There is nothing about golden gun that is better than hammer of sol (from what we've seen, we'll see how it plays when the dlc is released)

That makes them akin to little mini tracking nova bombs. It think that it will take a fair amount of skill to get more than three kills during the super. Personally I'm going to try the death from above like perk along with sun spots to bathe the map in flames and have a handy shield. I personally could see the storm caller being a little hated since it will be a range bladedancer and you can spec for speed and increased melee range.
