Yes it's a legendary.. A legendary that drops randomly from one of two raids. Yes, most ppl can beat Crota. Not all have it. The white nail perk makes it appealing. I'm not distraught about it, but kind of annoyed. You're not guaranteed 3 crit hits. Why screw with the mechanics/weapons of PVE? Who really cries about it? I usually only see ppl without gjally and a grim of 800 cry about it being OP. Then ppl without Thorn trying to go flawless in Trials or other PvP matches complain..

  • I agree with you concerning the White Nail perk - it's not always easy to consecutively crit-hit 3 times in a row - most bosses move around a good bit, or teleport, or whatever, that makes it difficult (or outright almost impossible) to pull off....the only two easy ones I can think of is Devil's Layer with the tank and the "Big Ol' Purple Ball"....Which, arguably, even on my worst day, that strike is not difficult....

  • Okay. Which of the VoG weapons has an ability to melt strike bosses via crit lock? Also: with BHs stability it can easily keep on target without fail.

  • None of them. Point being, not everyone has a gjally or BH. I don't see the point of the nerf when it's been the way it has been for so long. I doesnt make PvP any different... PvE is fun, I think the weapons are fine.

  • If pve is fun and there are no issues then could you explain why I have put the game down until September/October?

  • No I can't explain why you've put the game down, but you can't tell me that it's because the guns are OP. LOLOL

  • No I can't. So I'll reword it for you. The game in its current state is too easy. You can blast through endgame content without a second thought and there is no further incentive to continue playing as there is no challenge (for loot or otherwise) within the game (as of posting this). It took 2 weeks for me to get to lv34 and I have no further reason to play because the weapons I want at 365 are all upgraded now. Anyways my point being the game has no challenge. I would love to see year one weapons locked away in a closet so that the game becomes fun again but the "community" (a rather noisy group of opinionated forum goers) don't seem to want it that way.

  • Two weeks from level 32 to 34? I think it's easier to blame Bungie for the lack of content than it is to blame the weapon system.. I honestly don't understand their logic to nerf stuff.. I mean, I'll still play regardless but I'll be pissed off :-) On a serious note, TTK better have some great weapons, strikes, and a couple raids. Otherwise, I don't see how the hell they justify asking more than $20. I felt ripped off with the HoW.
