It doesn't need a nerf at all, you already have to be very accurate with it to get the best out of it. A lot of the things they're nerfing require no nerf. Perhaps just the poison on thorn in PVP. Anything underused should be buffed to make it more competitive. The problem is Bungie started making the game competitive with IB and ToO. And with competition people are going to use the very best gear they have. It's only natural. Basic Crucible you can use almost any gun and do just fine, like the Stranger's Rifle. Anything in PVE requires no nerf at all.
