A nerf was not necessary. The reason they gave for the nerf was even more stupid. As if I'm now going to take in noobs for shelter. Stupid move on their part. Millions grinded for that weapon, only for them to nerf it. Countless beta players still don't have it. Now they won't even get the weapon they've been grinding for. That's the only thing Bungie is consistent with. Making you grind for nothing. Loyal players from day one eventually run out of room for weapons, so they're forced to delete. Bungie nerfs Ghorn because it's more important than vault space. So you end up deleting weapons that you grinded countless hours obtaining and leveling up. Eventually you'll have nothing to show for all that time you put in cuz you're forced to delete cuz Bungie is too cheap to give you space. The decisions they make are stupid. Black Hammer? Really? Icebreaker? Why? Bungie is Notorious for making stupid moves. Let's kill off all auto's for no reason. Only to say oops, ok we are putting back the damage. Sorry about that. They should have just sold Ghorn. Instead they make a decision to nerf it. One of the most popular game weapons ever made nerfed due to recruitment issues. Lol News flash. When this game started no one had fireteams. No one knew what to do. Everyone grinded. Everyone had a hard time. It made you appreciate your progress more. Everyone eventually found teams. Thousands buy this game monthly? I don't know the numbers, but a large number of new players enter this game on a weekly basis. There should be no shortage of new people to play with. Unless you're lazy, and don't want to grind out wins with new people. That's not our problem. They should grind out wins like we all did. They don't NEED to have a vet player with a Ghorn on their team. Many of us didn't and we did just fine. We eventually became those vet players through grinding out raids, and activities. They even have a head start. These new players will always have a advantage from when we played. They are doing these raids with level 32-33-34's. Try grinding out VOG as a 29! Try doing hard Crota the first week it came out as a 32. New players that complain about the grind will not find any relief in a Ghorn nerf. Dumb move by Bungie.
