Yeah, just take a break. When you come back your perspective will be changed. Seriously. Before HoW I managed to maintain 3 characters on a weekly basis. Nightfall, weekly, dailies, both raids, etc. Then HoW dropped. I have a full time job. There was no way I was going to run all of the old content (mainly helping out others) plus all of the new content on 3 characters each week. Bungie helped with this a bit, since PoE's difficulty is definitely gratifying, but in no way rewarding once you've gotten three Ciphers. I haven't even bothered to run nightfall's lately. I'm still caught up and have every exotic in the game save for one armor piece, which I'll just wait for Xur to bring whenever that may be. I just hop on from time to time to play whatever with friends, or grind strikes or pvp for new weapons to reforge and try out. It's great. I love this game, the mechanics and design, etc. I'll always come back, but breaking that "I need to do this before reset omg!" cycle is for the best.
