Fatebringer is better than most exotic primaries in PvE. Why not nerf that too?

Edited by THE K1LL1ONA1RE: 7/18/2015 9:03:25 PMThey can't really do it because it is strong due to its perks, not its stats. They work together which makes it so strong. They would have to nerf firefly by reducing radius and damage and outlaw by decreasing its effect. But then they wouldn't be nerfing fatebringer. They would be nerfing every weapon with those perks. And there are a lot of those. White nail was only on BH. Firefly and outlaw, one or the other, are on almost every weapon. Or can be.

You just contradicted yourself idiot

They are. Less ammo, reduced range with faster falloff. Both BH and FB will stay good, but not OP.

That was a nerf across the whole spectrum of HCs IIRC. So every HC will get the same nerf. So Fatebringer will still be the best HC in PvE by a long mile. So it should be nerfed according to Bungie logic.

There will always be stuff that beats others of its class, and I believe those should come from the hardest content, endgame PvE/PvP Fatebringer does. Hard Templar is one of the hardest encounters in the entire game, especially when we were forever 29

Okay I definitely agree with you there. But the nerf to Black Hammer makes it obsolete. Useless is a bit harsh but it will be much worse than a good roll on a Spear/Benevolence or any other new legendary sniper that comes out in TTK. So what's the difference between Black Hammer and Fatebringer? Both are exclusive legendaries of raids, both were pretty hard to obtain when it first came out. Why the exclusive treatment to Black Hammer?

It has a special perk, FB doesn't; that's all I can think of. I disagree with the nerf, but I understand why it was done. Also, I will never use a Spear in PvE over BH. Even post nerf. It's just to precious to me.
