Thanks for another good vid!

People keep responding and saying the balancing doesn't hurt them. You obviously didn't watch my video. I don't argue that specific nerfs hurt players and I actually agree with how imbalanced PVP has been, especially trials. My point about it hurting loyal fans is that is de-incentives long engagement as good weapons get turned down from how great they once were making the whole nature of destiny, grind to find/level loot, short circuit.
-
Watched the video and I agree. I think they need to decide if they are going to be a PVE or a PVP. Because by trying to do both, they are failing.
-
Nicely said.

Couldn't agree more, this needs to be spammed all over the feedback forums... 19 views is pathetic, the two dislikes on it is a representation of the cancer of stupidity bringing about these unwanted changes. I feel this video rings true with what I believe about Destinys current future outlook, as a day one player. I have every gun they're nerfing, with the exception of the Necrochasm (didn't feel it was worth going for). They can do what they want with Thorn and The Last Word, I used them heavily in the past, but only because I feel like I'm forced to use both in pvp, they're hard to counter with other weapons available to me. Studies show that human nature is to use the tools that make the job easier, so why would someone use a less effective tool... In this case, a weapon other than the easiest. To what end? Thanks for sharing the video, you definitely have your finger on the pulse of the majority of the Destiny community. Going to sub after this post, Lono.

It is just nonsence. They trying to fix thing by making another imbalance. What it will be later, i can tell you. Trust->Hunger->Vengeance etc etc. Instead of basicaly make other less usefull weaponry more viable, they just chosed this nonsence. Yup Bungie looks clueless if they want to do this.

This guy explains exactly what the problem is here, thanks for the video!

Good video man bump for others to see. Totally agree with you.

Hey man good vid

Edited by SheGoesRawr: 7/18/2015 6:08:58 PMI agree with mostly everything that was stated in the video and I really appreciate how you look at this from multiple perspectives. My thoughts: While I am admittedly aggravated that so many weapons are being nerfed across the board, the one thing that stands out in all of this controversy is that Bungie is meddling in a lot of things that the community has never mentioned. I, personally, have never witnessed the outcry of an icebreaker nerf, or a gally nerf, or a PvE nerf whatsoever. It is my belief that Bungie is artificially extending their content and simultaneously trying to detach us from weapons that have stuck around too long. I have made the arduous decision to take an extended break from Destiny, now that my season pass is used up. I'm not going to play a game where the incentive is "grind repetitive strikes and raids for loot so we can lower the overall PvE damage that loot does in one swing of a nerf bat".
-
Your right on point. I've been with this game a long time but it does feel like a beta with these constant changes.
-
I liked the video thanks for breaking it down for us and analyzing maybe this will shine a light for bungie to realize some of the things they are doing wrong keep it up ☺
-
Another solid vid. Keep it up man! Thankfully there's a good bit of games coming out this fall
-
You sir have just earned a follower
-
Thank you for this vid. It's my thoughts exactly. You grind for a gun you have been wanting and put time into leveling them up just to have bungie come and change it.
-
They dont care about loyal fans and never did or ever will. They only care about sales, no one was ever going to get to stay a snowflake or special just for being a day1/veteran player ever in this game nor should anyone ever be allowed to in any game ever.
-
Well thought out and we'll said. They should have buffed other exotics to make the choice harder to make instead of putting another at a disadvantage. With some tweaks that I have read on this forum the choice between ghorn or dB could be made tough. That is what I think the game needed. We will see how it goes with ttk...halo is out 10 27

No one can argue your points. I haven't heard of you but then again i didn't know who datto was either, before yesterday. You have laid out a very fair assessment of the current status of Destiny. Many other great games coming out and i still haven't played shadow of mordor or witcher 3 so i think if you are upset about hte way they are heading then take a break. No need to fight everyone, just put the disc away or toss it until the sequel comes out. No more "i gotta get this/that done by reset" lol, that's great for kids but for us older guys it's a squeeze some times. Love the video man. I'll have to check out more of your youtube stuff if you have any. Thank you

Another good, factual Vid by Lono. Even if I don't agree with everything. I might stop by for the Stream. See you there!

Great freaking video man! Hey just the other night I posted something related to this topic and I was telling everyone that Bungie should have kept all the exotic gear on the PVE section of the game and therefore the PVP section/mode would be more balance than what it is now. Those Exotics make more sense to be the powerful weapons that they are because we are putting the hours to get them. The whole point of this game in PVE is to become Legend, to be stronger and stronger as you progress through the game. So yeah, what is the point of looking forward to the new exotics in the TTK if down the line the same thing will happen to them? I also watched that other video with The Legend himself? that dude and he is right about the Ice Breaker and Black hammer. Bungie can go about this a different way instead of nerfin' the weapons we love. I'll say that for the sequels, modes need to be put in place for it to allow or disallow exotics from PVP. A voting system. Anyway great video. I hope Bungie is paying close attention to all our discussions on this topic.

My feelings that I posted. : First off, thank you Bungie for all the countless hours I have played and enjoyed. With an immense amount of gratitude I will tell you that for me the 2.0 Weapon Update was a BIG BUZZ KILL. In my humble opinion you guys shouldn't have waited so long, and you shouldn't have condensed EVERY SINGLE weapon tweak all on one update. It's too much, and what I mean by that is, as a summary your weapon update is just ONE BIG NERF. That's what many of us feel. I suggest you communicate better with us and most of all ACKNOWLEDGE MUCH SOONER than you did. I have a feeling you have pissed a lot of gamers off, and I would recommend strategizing a little differently next time when you decide to change the outcome of the whole entire game with weapon balance. I'll see when you release TTK and hope you listen to your loyal fan base. Peace.
-
Completely agree Lono.

Over 500 hours to get Ghorn and even more than that to get Hawkmoon and they are getting nerfed. I think I am done whats the point of grinding hard for anything when it can just be ruined by Bungie.
