Bungie does not want players to infinitely stun a boss. Black hammer is a "legendary" sniper rifle with an exotic like perk. It's makes it realistic without pulling bullets out of thin air.

Well bosses should be immune to stunlock to begin with. All of them. No matter how much impact is behind it. Sort of like constant angry buff.

Like that fate bringer has a perk no other hand cannon does? It's only a legendary and shouldn't be stronger than every exotic hand cannon. Just saying why hit the black hammer and not the Fatebringer?

Fatebringer is the only handcannon with firefly, but you can get it on any scout rifle, which are the closest to accuracy, fire rate, and fire power. I use it all the time, but I can't stun lock a boss for the entire fight with it

While it isn't a special perk it is still exclusive to that singular weapon in the class. It is the same with pocket infinity...you can get full auto on shotguns and scout rifles, but the only fusion rifle that has it is pocket infinity which makes it function as an exotic. Firefly on Fatebringer makes it a higher tier than other exotic hand cannons. Just because it cant destroy bosses doesn't mean it isn't overpowered against every other hand cannon (like black hammer being better than ice breaker in many situations).
