So I had an unfortunate call from Microsoft this morning regarding an 'issue' with my gamertag being logged onto, ON A DIFFERENT CONTINENT NO LESS, but they were quite helpful. No stolen information, I got all my deleted games back, and even got the Gears of War 3 season pass as 'an apology for the obvious problem with account security.' Surprising that MS of all people were able to help out and be nice about it.
But that's not why I'm here...I'm here because among the games that were effected was Destiny. Now, I don't know why I bother because ever since Destiny launched (and Bungie partnered with Activision) the community as been lied to, robbed, cheated, and all but stabbed in the back time and time again. This issue won't be solved for myself, for anyone else who has lost content, and it never will be. You'll answer with your same rhetoric of "we can't do anything" when we all know that's bullshit, you don't WANT to do anything. Start taking some responsibility for your failure to prevent these problems and do something about it.
Oh and to avoid the bullshit here will be Bungie's response: "We're sorry that this happened but we can't provide restoration of deleted characters or offer compensation to amount for time spent playing with said characters. Please contact Microsoft for all issues regarding stolen and/or hijacked accounts"
Thanks, but I'm done with the rhetoric, if this happens again I'm done with your game and company.
