Yep... Trivializes challenges that are meant to make the player think and react under harder than normal circumstances.
Equipping a specific piece of gear that circumvents the challenges they designed is against the initial vision, and rightly so.
Furthermore it punishes players who do not posses the gear in question.
These guns HAD to be nerfed, because as we have already seen with skolas designing new content around the damage throughput that these guns are capable of is a HUGE mistake.
Edit: black hammer should gain critical hit damage with consecutive critical hits... Think a mini CA ala bl2... Stack up to 6 times for up to a 33% damage increase...
Taking away it's signature perk definitely broke it and made it much much much less desirable.
