A Legendary Sniper rifle should not out perform an Exotic one and since Icebreaker got a severe Nerf....
In all seriousness, certain year 1 weapons are so powerful that Bungie doesn't know how to top them without building new weapons that will completely break the game. Bungie have also expressed frustration that a lot of players would rather stick with these OP weapons than use new ones. This patch is about breaking everyone's favourite toys so that The Taken King's 'new' loot looks more attractive.

It's been widely acknowledged that the Necrocasm was bloody awful hence the reason why it's supposedly getting buffed this time around. Argument still stands.

I kind of dig the wolves weapons, but the perks are such garbage. If they had even made them close, I'd use them for the novelty but nobody needs a non elemental sniper with shank burn. Let me trade 5 weapon cores to add a random element to a wolves gun and I'll gladly slip the new hand cannon into my regular rotation

Stop nerfing the greats and make other weapons more viable options. My example would be dragons breath...sure ghorn gets a nerf but is still leagues ahead of dragon's breath which is complete s***.

If dragons breath slowed the enemy like a Web mine while it was in the flare, people would use it all the time. Instead everything, including wallets will move away, making it worthless.

They treated the solar flares like warlocks grenades.. Imagine doing Atheon with all Dragons breath.. He would literally leave the vault of glass haha
