Guns. Armor. LOOT. It's kind of the point isn't it? Doing quests, Bounties, Playing PvP, Raids... It's all so we can get cool loot, kill Aliens and other Players with our cool loot, and look bad ass. So why do so many people want to turn our cool loot into average loot? Like, what is honestly going through your head? Do you just want to play Call of Duty? Destiny is an MMORPGFPS. It's supposed to have weapons and gear that out perform other weapons and gear. It's supposed to have weapons and gear that are only obtainable to it's top players, and players who put in the time to earn it. If anything Destiny made some of this gear TOO easy to obtain. If the drops were rarer, or the Exotic Bounties had harder requirements you would see these overpowered weapons a lot less. Imagine if Thorn required that you kill Atheon 50 times on hard, and get a Prevail Ubroken in PvP. We'd see a lot less Thorns. My only complaint is that Destiny doesn't have an overpowered gun in each weapon class. If they did, then you would see a lot more variety. But nerfing every gun that is cool? Your literally destroying the point of the game. The more balanced you make each weapon, the more you remove any desire to play any part of this game. Why grind to get a Black Hammer? Why do the Thorn Bounty? WHY DO ANYTHING? TTK on every weapon is the same, so none of it matters. Think before you ruin this game. The imbalance is supposed to make you try harder to get the Gear you dream of. When you finally attain said Gear you are supposed to feel elated, not let down that it basically doesn't do any more damage than your legendary pulse rifle you bought from the vendor.
