After inspecting the patch notes for the new weapon update one thing seems abundantly clear, Bungie, albeit in an attempt to listen to the community, has taken our suggestions too far and have overcominsated with nerfs and buffs much as they did with the first weapon patch. While they have indeed added some needed buffs to some wayside weapons, they have added some unecessary nerfs to others. This brings us from one extreme to the other, skipping the viable middle ground, and just adds more gaps between weapon classes but in new places. My advice? Pick one or the other. If you want to buff weapons that aren't being used? Great! Do just that. If some forerunners are far beyond others and you want to curb those back? Awesome, do that instead, just don't do both at the same time, because people usually end up overcompinsating, as we've seen here. I like the large variety of guns, and would much prefer to see things improved to compete instead of nerfed to make it harder, because at some level I do feel like someone is taking something away from me, instead of being added to. And if you want to make it harder that's great too, but I'd rather you buff my enimies then nerfs my guns. Give AIs more health, make their weapons hit harder, things should increase over time not lessen. And as for addressing the almost requirement of a ghallerhorn, sure nobody likes being left out if you don't have it, but there's something special to be said about having a glorious outlyer that you strive for, earn, and then bask in the awesomeness of. People like exclusivity. And if you wanted to lessen it, buff something to compete. And as for Black Hammer, come on the whole point was for the free ammo, it's not like it didn't take skill to land all three, and for increased challenge half the mag, decrease the margin for error, that's a nerf I could get behind. Fusion rifles have gone from meh to eh when they used to rock, my boomstick is less boomy, and I'll be subjected to more god-awfull reload times with my handcannons. While not everything is bad, better autorifles, fixed final rounding, fixed exotics (lord of wolves god-mode, and the possibility of no land beyond actually being viable) overall this patch seems like a net nerf, when it should feel like a buff, like we as a community are getting more. Also Hawkmoon got nerfed just before xbox players get it which is a total burn.

100% agree with everything you've said

Correct, they seem not to be able to program things in parts they just nerf the one thing as a whole (laziness). It almost and I hate to say this but it seems they're allowing like some un-experience people to make changes to their game or something. Because I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt here but they can't just be that stupid. Either they're just stupid or they just have some really poor management making poor choices, I can just picture bungies HR department lol man. I agree the black hammer when it first came out was suppose to be the Ice breaker killer. The whole point of the rifle was the free ammo if you make the good shots. So what happen ? People are now saying OH WELL THATS HOW IT SUPPOSE TO BE. Those people have no idea what they're talking about either they're just new or just dumb one or the other or both. Hopefully they rethink this but I have a strong feeling that this has to do with the TTK monsters/bosses. These weapons will be to great in their new little B.S DLC. So they have to get rid of them and force us to change and adapt their new junky weak weapons they will have in the TTK.
