Hear me out on this. Destiny has been back-lashed over and over for weapon balancing. The people with out thorns, Gally's, and Skill complain about how OP they are. The people with them don't want to lose a top weapon they grinded hours for. LFG has created a social cult on raids for people with Gjallahorn and those with out it are not let in. This can be fixed with out weapon balancing. Destiny needs to go about re-balancing in a different way. Yes Auto rifles need help and fusions are trash. There is no doubt about that. But, Instead of "Nerfing" and "Boosting" the top guns, create counter balance armors to go against them. For example, in PvP create any armor; it can be gauntlets, chest, or even feet for all i care that are exotic and have a NO DoT perk to fight the thorn. A helmet that does not allow tracking for rocket launchers. Create a PvE boss that counters what Gally is known for. Even Skolas can have a perk that says Gally will not track with its wolf rounds. No match making will eliminate the Gally cult but thats a whole new story i dont want to get into..... Instead of nerfing and boosting stuff, how about we create stuff to stop it if you can earn it.
