Because when a gun becomes so widely abused and makes what is supposed to be some of the more challenging aspects of the game into a joke then that gun needs to be taken down a notch.

Where is Black Hammer abused? The only place I use it is level 28 strikes, which are supposed to be easy, other wise you couldn't endless play them very easily.

- Spider Tanks - Sepiks/Servitor - Archon Priest - Tanicks - Hive Knights/Wizards - Phogoth/Ogres Basically any enemy that has a big juicy crit spot becomes dust at the sight of Black Hammer at the cost of ZERO ammo. Yeah thats not abuse at all =/

Taniks/ the Archon Priest don't have very big critical spots Hive knights and wizards have very small critical spots It's very difficult to keep the critical flinch on Phogoth Ogres, I guess but they usually die in 2 shots, making White Nail useless

Okay then you just aren't very good with your Hammer I guess. I have never had any issues.

I am very good with Black Hammer, but I do occasionally miss a crit
