Yes you're missing something.
Ghorn isn't being nerfed to being useless. Even if Wolfpack rounds are nerfed by 25% it'll still do more damage than any other launcher (but Dragon's Breath DoT might be a contender).
Also machine guns may well rise again as they deliver light to moderate damage but keep on firing.

Plus, didn't they say they are Increasing the initial blast damage? Seems like they took the "%" from wolfpack and just slapped it on the initial rocket.

No blast radius, not damage.

Really not worried about he nerf but where does it say anything about buffing the blast? all I see is "•Changes ◦Reduce damage of Wolfpack Rounds"
