If that were the case, Suros would still be used in Crucible. People adapt. They are going to find the fastest and most efficient way. No one cares what a gun used to be.

You still don't get it? Gjally will always remain a supreme gun due to the Wolfpack rounds. No other launcher will touch the DPS Gjally does. Even if another launcher will be better, people will still FEEL the need to have a Gjally only team. Only viable solution to Gjally elitism is removing Wolfpacks, so people will move on. Don't think that'll happen, because it basically makes a Gjally a legendary not an exotic.

Did you not just read what I said about Suros? People don't give a shit what guns used to be. If gjallarhorn is equal or lesser to other legendary rocket launchers, people will move on. They will use their exotic slots for other more useful exotics. Nostalgia plays no part in the Destiny world.
