But you still had to proc the perk, meaning I have to try to knock out three rapid headshots to Skolas while his scotch cannon causes me to jolt my aim or go hide to recover, making it [i]difficult[/i] to achieve. I should be rewarded for hitting everything right and if I miss one, then I'm OK with and fully understand having to use ammo. But the gun is supposed to have a worthwhile reward for completing a magful of precision shots

Ya you still get the instant reload...just cant spam with infinite shots.

And? My praedyth can reload lightning quick, has more mag shots and more reserve. Black hammer was fun and unique, now it just saves a second of reload. That's the only difference.

Id prefer 18 consistent shots than 4 shots reload 4 shots reload.

Praedyth has 6 with field scout. And if you miss one you're forced to reload anyway, so I'll take the quicker reload with more ammo without needing to hit EVERY critical.
