Can someone seriously justify the Black Hammer nerf?
I really don't see why this is getting nerfed at all. Who can convince me? It makes no sense...

It's not a nerf. It's a reasonable fix to a weapon that [b]isn't[/b] an Exotic.

the ammo sink spiders and tanks obviously shouldn't die that fast, hence the nerf.

Well the reason they did it was because nobody used anything else. I still don't think that they should have nerfed it but that's the reason and while I don't agree, I can see why they did it

1 ReplyYes. It's because of... you see... Uhh... Nope. I got nothing. An easy fix would to put an internal cool-down on the ability. Say it can only trigger once ever 5-10 seconds. Stops the player from just continuously firing, but you still get the infinite ammo you want.

There is no reason to nerf it because green ammo dropping is so inconsistent it will be pointless to use most of the time and will no longer reward precision hits It won't even matter if you hit it miss now because you will still lose ammo

I don't understand why people are complaining... you are acting like they have destroyed the gun! It will still be a great sniper but it won't dominate end game activities. The same goes for the ghorn, the pve weapons they have nerfed are to make end game activities more of a challenge and feel more rewarding when completed. The game is too damn easy at the minute and change was needed.

3 RepliesThe black hammer makes certain boss encounters a joke. Fallen walkers, Archon Priest, Phogoth, and PoE bosses. The weapon was the 'go-to' PvE sniper and this mentality destroys weapon diversity (the same problem with the thorn in PvP).

pvE wise, it went from a unique OP sniper to a regular sniper.

Unlimited ammo? Honestly the black hammer bonus should be an exotic bonus since it is game changing and makes pve ridiculously easy. Pve should be challenging.

10 RepliesIt makes since to me because when you sit there and land 3 critical hits and then you get three bullets from the void, it makes no sense. It's more logical that those 3 bullets come from your inventory.
