What are your opinions on the new weapon tuning update?

1 ReplyI dont have any problems with pvp, never thought thorn or final round was unacceptable. If u skilled u can outgun thorn and avoid the line of sight from a sniper. I always loved the lastword cuz it looks awesome and kills fast. Wth the stability and range nerf combined wth the hc nerf, it wont be as good as it was pre nerf. But i m still gonna use the lastword, cuz lastword for life.

People also just suck at the game and required gally as a crutch because they aren't good enough to beat POE (LOL). Shame on all of you who complained or made gally a "requirement" to join you.

6 RepliesI really wonder the IQ levels from Bungie team because they success to fail on everything they do constantly. Sad thing is , no one in Bungie team cares because there are guardians who are throwing money to their TV's. Did we need a weapon tuning ? Yes However once again we ( PVE ) players are getting f...ked in the butt because of sucky PVP players. Thorn needed a major nerf , it did only receive a minor nerf and will still be the choice of weapon for crucible. TLW needed the BUG fixed. It didn\t needed reduction on aim assistance. It just needed nerf on the range and the bug fix. Hawkmoon was perfect , it is a slow firing powerful hand cannon. It MUST have the ability to one shot an enemy once in a while , without that the gun will be completely useless. Ghally is a situational gun however it is not that powerful , nerfing wolf packs will make Dragon Breath the new ghally... Auto rifle damage reduction for range is still way too much. If hand cannon's don't see the same damage reduction , Auto rifles will continue to sit in the vaults. So basically Bungie did nothing other then f..cking up our belowerd guns : Icebreaket , Ghally , Black Hammer and all the fusion rifles... If this weapon balancing will not be changed or updated i am NOT buying Taken KIng

The fundamental problem with what they are doing is that they are trying to tune too much at the same time. When you change how all weapons perform, it becomes vastly more difficult to predict the new meta. What they should do is slightly change one weapon class and see how it plays out. If it works as intended, roll out the next weapon class change in 2 weeks. Otherwise, you tweak the first changes until you get them right before moving on to the next class of weapons. Instead, we wait months to get wholesale changes that infuriate people who have worked to get perks or level up weapons based on the existing play style only to now have to go out and grind for different guns because they are the new Uber weapons for the next few months. Hamster...meet wheel. You two will get to know each other very well.

Autos could have used a increase in base mag size, 27rds on the summoner is just a lil to small imo. 30-34 would be perfect on the summoner

2 RepliesHere's what I'm getting out of update 2.0 aka How Bungie is alienating their player base once again. No one uses Pulse Rifles so we buffed them so more would use them. Now more people are using PRs so we are nerfing them. No one uses shotguns, so we buffed them. Now everyone uses them and blowing right through PVE content, so we nerfed them. Black Hammer, hope you enjoyed it while it lasted. Cause now all they are doing is taking away the reload animation, but still run out of ammo. Everybody loves handcannons, so we will nerf them. Icebreaker-really? Stop making our exotics feel not so exotic. And fix the HoW weapons, because they are mediocre at best. All they needed to say in the update was, basically we want you to use other weapons just cause. You aren't allowed to have your go to load out, and feel powerful. You are plowing through are endgame content too fast, so we will nerf the players ability to have fun! Become Legend, not your vision of it, but ours! And then they will try again in update 3.0. 'Mic drop'

4 RepliesWhy is noone talking about the Vex? It probably won't even be a viable option for pvp anymore, or pve for that matter. Plus the blackhammer and ice breaker nerfs suck but other than that everything seems in line.

I do hate the black hammer nerf and the fact that high rof ARs aren't getting any special attention still. Hopefully the accuracy and range nerf won't make them worse....
