That's like asking California vs. USA or asking Quebec vs. Canada. France vs. Europe. China vs. Asia.
It doesn't make much sense.
Canada is part of America.

When people say America, they mean the United states of America. If your people want to be called American, name your country that. You can say your north American, or central, or south. But you can't can yourself an American by itself unless you live in the U.S
-
I do live in the US of A.

Thank you. I was waiting for one of you red-necks to say something stupid like this. You, my soft-bellied 'American' friend, have just revealed the very thing wrong with so many people in your country as a whole. I'll spell it out for you (wish I had crayons and a piece of cardboard here)... It's called: United States 'of' America. Did you catch the 'OF' part. No? The name of your country is the 'United States', fortunate to be located in a part 'of' the Americas. That'd be like canada Calling itself the United Provinces and Territories 'of' America. But instead they got together and gave their Country an actual name, not just a collection of different regions grouped together as a Union of different States. Hell, the U.S. has more in common with the USSR as far as that goes, than they do with Canada.
-
And you, are what's wrong with the world. Call a Canadian an American and see what they say, same goes for a Mexican. You do know why it a called America right? The fact that you "waited for someone to say that" equally shows what a problem you are.
-
Why 'what' is called "America"?
-
Really? You're just gonna keep this troll going?
-
BTW I muted you because I don't want to hear any other bs about your flat opinion
-
What's that movie line? Famous... American army was involved I think... Oh yeah.: YOU CANT HANDLE THE TRUTH!
-
Yeah but if you live in mexico, you are Mexican correct? So if I live in the us it makes me a united statesian? Judging by your salt you are probably European, which identifies which continent you would live in. Saying that I'm American means I'm from the U.S, I can say I'm also an North American. You can go by identifying yourself from your continent, or your country. No need to be angry my friend. :)

Ummm... No. Just no. Canada is part of North America. And so is the United States of America, aka America. You are either really ignorant, or trolling.
