Lmao in canada we don't have this problem. I don't know anyone that goes in for a cold, also the doctors are paid hourly by the government so they are gonna be there anyways. Also if someone wants to get a check up they will be put lower on the list than someone needing treatment right away. It's called prioritizing. And honestly it's isn't more really. I pay a slightly higher tax than you but if I need to go to the hospital for a broken leg I don't have to be in a pile of debt afterwards. I also can't be turned down by insurance if I have a severe medical condition. I don't need insurance at all actually. You honestly sound like someone that works for one of these private companies and don't wanna see the government get the money instead of you. The system I live in is far superior.
