When was the last time a Canadian team won the cup? Or even played in the finals? I'll conseed the fact the you've won the gold, so have better players, but many have left the homeland to play for teams in the lower 48.

Well there are 23 American teams versus only 7 Canadian teams. That might be part of all of what you claim. They don't leave Canada by the way. They are employed in the States but most of them still maintain a residence in Canada.

The only reason that the US teams win is because they will pay more for all of the good canadian players. (Crosby, Tavares, etc..)

We won gold at the world cup this year. Won gold last two winter olympics. Pretty much all the stars on your championship teams are Canadians. Matter of fact most players on your teams down south are Canadians. The American born stars are generally a result of a Canadian playing for an American team and banging your women.
