Getting Gjallarhorn
I have well over 300 hours played on destiny and I just now finally got the gjallarhorn. I was doing crota normal trying to get a black hammer and it dropped! There was a guy in my game who started yelling and bitching about not getting the gjallarhorn "after 200 hours of playing" and then he rage quit. But what I want to know is how around many hours played MOST people have when they get the Gjallarhorn? Is 300 hours lucky average or unlucky? Also if you have any funny stories about people reacting to a gjally drop feel free to share them.

I got lucky with my first, under a 100. Second dropped at 1500 or so. Got my 3rd last Tuesday and I'm close to 2000 now. That being said I have a couple buddies with the same amount of time and still don't have it.

300 hours is lucky. I have friends with over 1200 hours and still don't have one.

1 ReplyI'm at just over 1100 hours play time last time I checked, I have restarted a few characters in this time and I have NEVER seen the G-Horn drop for anybody let alone me :-/ I believe it doesn't exist.

6 RepliesI had ~360 hours, and I felt extremely lucky since there are players with over 1000 hours and no gally. Btw, did you read the weapon patch notes. Wolf pack rounds damage was reduced. So I'm assuming gjallarhorn is now going to be slightly better than Hunger of Crota? Any thoughts on this?
