Who has stopped playing?
Just a quick feedback for/from the community (which includes the Bungie group).

I play 90% less than I used to. Still occasionally sneak on for a nightfall or a quick strike

1 ReplyI still do nightfalls, and actually helped a friend at Atheon. Still not playing near as much, almost 200 raids and no ghally, that's horseshit. I know not all my raids were for rewards but it's still crap. RNG is BS.

I quit a while ago... Let my kids play on my 360 account. They quit too... The game is just boring. Fun for 1 play through... which isn't very long. But I'm still gonna wait around and see what happens. Bungie might be incompetent with Destiny at the moment, but they might end up hiring someone and figuring out how to do this thing.

I haven't played for about a week. Borderlands has my attention for now. I will jump on if clan mates need help or IB otherwise I'm gona break from the game til ttk and see what people say about it.

I enjoy pve don't get me wrong but I like destiny mainly for pvp but I play both often

The game is set in an interesting world, and each expansion has kept me coming back. Unfortunately, only for a month or so at a time. I love grindy games, but there aren't enough collectible items worth putting in 1000s of hours to find. And the random drops just make it all the more infuriating. Witcher 3 has me completely hooked. I feel like every release on next-gen has been a failure so far, not counting PC ports that already went through years of QA(Warframe, Don't Starve, Planetside) or shameless but appreciated remakes(Last of Us, Tomb Raider, GTA V) etc. Although the framerate has been horrid at times on PS4, CD Projekt basically nailed it. Quests are interesting. Enemies are unique and often disturbing. Every mistake you make can and probably will haunt you later on. I love BF4 but the launch was trash. Watch Dogs was a failure, every recent Assassin's Creed barely runs at an acceptable framerate. Drive Club is free on PS Plus this month as a quasi-demo but trying to buy the full game returns an error code(this was supposedly a launch title). I can't help but feel a bit ashamed to be a console gamer as of these last 2 years. Destiny will probably take hold of me again with Taken King. For how long, that remains to be seen.

I play when my 2 friends want to (or for Nightfalls). My only incentive is the nonexistent chance to get Hawkmoon.

Stopped about a month ago. The temptation to go back has been there, but then I put in ESO of get on my PC and then everything is fine.

Stopped about 4 weeks ago after playing since launch. HoW just killed Destiny for me. The no matchmaking restrictions just killed any interest I had in continuing on. Won't be getting TTK either. Now if some form of matchmaking is added I would reconsider. Out of the 30 some odd "friends" I added 2 still play. The rest are playing other games now.
