Have your testers try to get the Husk of the Pit from the Fist of Crota Misson if none of them can't then.....
You, Bungie should provide a boost to obtaining the husk by who ever has the Crux of Crota in there inventory. The Boost does not have to be big it just has to be noticeable.

Bump, Ive had the crux and embalming orb for 5 months and Ive run the fist of crota mission at least 150 times and still no drop.
