They gotta close the Alpha first. And then of course you have to buy a Beta access pass.

But you only get up to level 8. After that you have to buy the pre launch dlc and you don't even get to keep the weapons and armor. You need to throw money at your screen to unlock the destiny Easter egg that opens up the traveler ball outside the tower and then just dance in front of it for hours.
