Because it's based too much on opinion, such as gay marriage being mainly a liberalist belief and then that belief being passed as a federal law. Passing something that has nothing to do with politics through a nationwide federal law is just ridiculous, unconstitutional, and a direct violation of states rights.

But what about human rights? It's not like they're trying to make people gay, they just want full rights is that such a bad thing? Sure liberalism has flaws but the IDEALS that liberalism promotes usually comes from the right place.

I'm not saying that gays having rights is wrong, I'd think it was wrong if they didn't. But that choice is not a government concern. An especially if how they legalize it is unconstitutional. And if liberals had it their way then America would basically be communist or socialist to be honest. And from a viewpoint of a conservative Christian, things like homosexuality are wrong. Now if you know much about Christianity that is not a deal breaker for being Christian. (Gays can be Christian but homosexuality is a sin, but who doesn't sin, right? In Christianity it's just a matter of if you repent or not.) Christian conservatives (which if you didn't know most republicans/conservatives are Christians) would believe that some liberal beliefs are wrong due to being immoral or just that they simply disagree with them in most cases due to being opposite parties.

Fair enough, thank you for the well thought out responses.
