That's true. I'm Christian, and I do not believe that government should follow every single principle of Christianity, but I do believe that the Bible has good principles that people should follow. But yes, like you said, I am a conservative that agrees with most conservative government policies but also I am fine with things like gay marriage because I do think that government should not be able to stand in the way of that, but at the same time the way that government passed it as a federal vote (which is a direct violation of states rights) is ridiculous and unconstitutional to me. (Although yes many things done nowadays are unconstitutional due to more complications as time progresses)

Out of conservative Christians, I like progressive Christians much more. Don't take this wrongly but I live in Arizona and recently 8 fundamentalist churchs were suing a progressive church for "not being Christian", which I believe to be ridiculous. I know not all Christians are like that but many outspoken conservative fundamentalist Christians are. I'm an atheist by the way, as you probably already guessed, but I don't give people a hard time unless what they post is completely and utterly dumb.

I understand, and agree with some of your points. And for the record I'm not a fundamentalist I'm more progressive in case you were wondering. It was nice hearing your perspective.
-
Yeah when it was happening I felt bad for the progressive but there wasn't much I could do. Glad to hear your not fundamentalist though. Still sorry that I called you an asshole earlier.
-
It's good, in your defense, there are more assholes on here then people like you and me. Lol
