Whose genius idea was it to create this as a "reward" for prison elders?
When will shank burn ever help on a sniper rifle?
Last week variks had the Last Rebellion, a void rocket launcher with shank burn. Maybe, just maybe..., you might want to shoot a cluster of fallen and hope to catch shanks in the blast radius.
This is pointless. Is there no QA for the rng of vendors gear? Or did someone deliberately do this out of spite?

13 RepliesWell, OP; you know how difficult killing those Shanks has been. I can't even begin to count the number of LFG posts I've seen for Guardians "LF2 to take out this shank!!! It's been four weeks of death, and I can't seem to get it on my own... those orange-like shields I just can't figure out; If only there were a way to get those to drop faster and to do more damage to that lonely, solitary Shank!!!!". Shanks [b]are[/b] known in Gamer circles as the "Great Satan of the Cosmodrome"... ... Said no one. [b]EVER![/b] Seriously, Bungie... how mentally retarded do you think your player base is, that you'd think they need assistance killing Shanks and Dregs? They're one-shot-kills from BLUE GODDAMN WEAPONS!!! We don't/didn't need weapons that do "slightly more damage to shanks/dregs"!!! How stupid are you guys? Really though, it's half-assed shit like this that makes many people put down your game every day.
