why come here to post that youre leaving?
ok, why bother coming to the forums to post that you sold the game or quit the game or whatever?
it seems like a waste of time, n who do you really think is even going to give a shit that youre gone?
add to that that its a real stupid way to whore attention since, if you truly are leaving, you shouldnt be around to reply to everyone whos talking shit.
and really, youre not going to get any sympathy for it

1 ReplyIt's a response that younger people look for in order to validate their decision. They need to feel supported, like they are making the right move and that the majority of people agree with them. They need to feel "right" or they will feel like they are doing something wrong. This goes away as you age, usually. Much like music, there is no right or wrong when it comes to taste. Only perspective.

Edited by Doc SoCal: 7/13/2015 7:40:00 PMI think it stems from people being such a big deal in game in their heads that they really think they are going to somehow cause a rift, make a ripple or even in some of the most narcissistic posts, take Bungie down as they leave. It is an odd phenomenon. When I am really done with something, I just walk away. These exit tantrums never cross my mind. My favorite part is bookmarking the threads then seeing they started playing again the very next day, or hour in many cases.

Funny part is, they're not even leaving. A lot of these players that post "I'm quitting" threads are not disciplined enough to actually get over their addiction of Destiny and quit. Their mistake for getting obsessed with it.
