Nope. And any poll I've ever seen here says a decent to large portion of the community wants it, and for it to be optional. The only thing that needs to be said is that it would be optional. This invalidates any argument against it. The only reasons they can have for not doing it at this point is a logistics issue, they are being told not to by someone, or they don't want to spend the money on what would be required to implement it. Until they say otherwise I can do nothing but assume that. I have thought long and hard about this and see no other reasoning.
Their philosophy is either a cover for one of the above reasons or the epitome of misguided good intentions. If not, help me understand. Please.
