Well to be honest I didnt really expect it because of Under The Red Hood, but given how surprised Batman was in the theatre it must an alternate timeline.

If you know the story of Jason Todd, then you know what happened. But for the people who didnt, I'm sure it was a suprise.

Arkham City was miles better. At least imo.

Don't get me wrong I loved arkham knight, It was fun to play, and has plenty of things that I really enjoyed about it. But you're right, Arkham City had more to offer, and still left secerets that were discovered years later.

The thing that I really liked about Knight was that Joker had so much screentime. On the other hand, batmobile sequences were just tedious.
