There really isn't shit to use the marks on. I need no armor from the vendors. The weapons for sale are shit. I've got some VoG raid gear I'd like to ascend, that's about it. But, I believe Bungie has shifted their full attention to the release of TTK. And as such, they aren't looking for any new ideas for HoW and since the rumors are that Year 1 gear won't be ascendable...I have no belief they have even looked at this idea let alone would even consider it.
