I don't "agree" per se, but I've noticed the result of this philosophy is that I've made some new friends. I think that's interesting and worth thinking about.

Are you saying OPMM won't generate friends? Note: since when did a gaming company care if you made friends or not? Is not the goal only to communicate effectively when needed and to have fun with friends(if you have any but your more than welcome to socialize and make some if you dont). Since the beginning LFG sites have been a manual MM out of game. I just don't understand the reasoning of not having it in the game to begin with.

Optional matchmaking would probably help you make friends, but I've noticed that having to work to form a team makes me value my teammates more that I would if they were randomly handed to me by RNGeezus. Also, I have a hunch that Bungie actually cares if you make friends and they don't want you to be a lonely basement dweller; my hunch is based on the way Destiny is designed.

I've read 1984, but I can't see the comparison, as Bungie is not a totalitarian government; they're a videogame company making videogames. Are you taking this a little too seriously for your own good?

And intelligence is power. A penny here and a penny there are little but the more the pennies drop the larger the number becomes. First it is a gaming company then schools wanting children not to Early at school and not to late. Witch results in a call to the DHS and your child has to stay over night with strangers. then we have posioned food and (GMO'S) then we got new laws banning hate speech. Then we got new laws in california that makes your child need a mandatory vaccine(you know what are in those vaccines? It is horrible)then the government trying to ban guns just like they did to the natives of this land...now where are they. Practically extinct. What Bungie is doing is against our best interests as a community of players but also as a whole to humanity. So yeah I am taking it seriously. So should you :) but it relates to 1984 if you think a bit more and put everything I said into perspective. Anyway back to just Bungie :) they are doing us wrong. :(

Do some research everything I said is true. The fact u can not see the comparison to 1984 is really bad. Do some research on your government. You think Hitler is bad because he killed so many people? Research how many people america has killed. I can tell you it is way more than Hitler...look up Floride MSG High Fructose Corn Syrup, Soy lechin, and Aspartame. Then ask yourself. Why those ingredients are in food we eat regularly.
