Let us just create our own armor shaders already!
The the longest time I have been grinding rep with dead orbit in the hopes of getting a cool armor shader like Revenant because frankly the armor colors in this game are frigging HIDEOUS! And the armor shaders we can buy from that lady in the tower by the speaker, they are WORSE! I' am sick of my guardians having to look like technicolor nightmares. I don't want my characters to be purple, or red and pink, or all blue or tangerine and white or any of the other horrendous color combinations that were cooked up for this game. I want to be able to give my guardians a color pattern of MY choosing. The current random premade choices are terrible, except for Dead Orbits. Wow, they did well with the colors of ONE faction, bravo, way to half ass it.
The bottom line, just let us frigging BUY the armor shader colors we want from the factions or give us the ability to create our own custom armor shaders. Because, Bungie, you guys dropped the ball BIG TIME when it came to gear coloration.

Then what's the point of those faction shaders? You can essentially pick those colors and skip the grind.

2 RepliesI think 10$ for 5-10 shaders that can be customized and can be deleted but stored in special orders. I think this maybe be a good idea.

If people are throwing tons of money at the screen for a couple of shader and some other carp, what makes you think bungie is going to let you make your own, better, custom one?

Customized shaders would remove the potential carrot-on-a-stick reward Bungie can use indefinitely as rewards at the end of various grinds to artificially increase playtime. I really don't see it ever happening.

To me.. that should have been a perk for year one players.. allowing them to customize shaders.
